About WIIGA
We are a non-profit organisation established in 2002, made up of a Committee of volunteer coaches and supporters.
Our Aims
To help our elite athletes develop and reach their full potential by competing at the NatWest International Island Games.
To foster and encourage friendship through sport between island communities and to provide opportunities for athletes to represent the Western Isles at international level.
NatWest International Island Games
The NatWest International Island Games take place every 2 years, hosted by one of the 24 member Islands
Preparations
WIIGA works in partnership with local clubs & organisations across the Western Isles to ensure that the correct framework and support is available for our athletes to train and prepare for these events

GG has been the General Team Manager for WIIGA since 2011 and has attended and managed each of the Games ever since
NORMAN MACDONALD

Before becoming WIIGA Chairman, 'Norrie' was previously the Golf Team Manager and has also competed in the sport at the Games.
