Orkney 2025 Island Games draw to a close

The 2025 Island Games drew to a close on Saturday 19th July, after an incredible week of sport in the Orkney sunshine. Competing in our 10th Games, we took a squad of 104 athletes, coaches and medical staff to compete in the Archery, Badminton, Lawn Bowls, Cycling, Football, Golf and Swimming competitions. In a week that saw plenty of PBs and lots of building on the strides made in Guernsey, the team returned with 6 Golds, 1 Silver and 4 Bronze medals. A full report on the Games will be available soon.
